It is officially summer here and very hot. So we've been doing very summery things like water balloons, grilling food and eating outside, and our favorite-lemon slushies. We went to a Kentucky Derby party where a southern gentleman made us traditional Mint Juleps with mint he'd been growing for just this occasion. Tony put a few dollars in the betting pool and his horse won, it was fun :)

Yup grilled pizza. I am trying to get more confident on the grill myself. Both the pizza and shrimp were a bit overcooked but still tasty.
These pictures almost make me miss riding out the heat with you kids...but then I remember the heat part. I miss you and grilled pizza and slushies. :(
