Avocado Love

Tony brought me home a dozen perfectly ripe haas avocados a few days ago of which I've been eating lots of. While I was scraping out all the flesh to make guacamole, I thought back to the time we discovered we had a huge avocado tree in the yard of a cute little house we were renting. I LOVE avocado so it was so exciting to see the little fruits sprinkled throughout the branches, knowing in a few months we would be eating as much as we wanted. The top picture is from that time, one of the batches we froze for later.

And that gave me the idea of showing a little peek into something new I've been working on for a shop update next week. Avocado Love buttons!

Since I've been working so hard on the update I've been a bad blog commenter and emailer. I promise I'll be better after next week :)

those "love avocado" buttons made me smile big time, just adorable! and I can´t even imagine having avocados growing in your garden, here in sweden it can be really hard to find the eatable ones and I come home with really bad ones from the store every now and then!

I miss those buttons already.

I think I was there when we peeled all of those avocados! Was that at the Riverside house?

Thank you everyone !
As of now, they're going to be sold as part of a set, but soon hopefully, separately.
Cecilia, you poor girl--come visit me and I will get you some nice avocados :)
Sam: this particular batch was at the Arcadia house, you very well might have been there too.
