These are pictures from a recent "hike" up an 150-foot Forest Ranger Tower. While I'm not normally afraid of heights, the fact that the tower swayed in the wind and wasn't in the best shape had my legs shaking for 20 minutes after I was on firm ground again. The bottom pictures show a little millipede we found while there.
In other news, I plan on posting a lot more frequently and have plans to open another etsy shop within the next few weeks. Pretty exciting!

Looks like it would be a little scary climbing up that tower. But what a view!
I'm confused about the windows though...were there windows in the towers?
Hi Jamie. At the top is a tiny room-like place where the forest rangers used to span the horizon for fires. Just enough room for a desk really :)
