it begins

"Wow, what beautiful holiday photos," you're probably thinking. I know, I know.
Last night we went to our towns' annual lighting of the tree, complete with a visit from the real Santa. It was lots of fun (really) as this year they had a small sampling of classical ballet, a musician from the local symphony playing Christmas songs and some cuuute kids caroling on a make-shift stage (and doing their "synchronized" flail-y arm moments, super cute). And then, believe it or not, it actually snowed*! Enzo asked me to tell Santa and Mrs. Claus that he would like a new green marker for Christmas and I did. It really was a great official kick-off to the season.
Once we had gotten home and Tony had uploaded the pictures, I saw how funny (and violent) our otherwise joyous time looked in our pictures. Thought I'd share.
And then today we went to watch the Christmas parade. (I really love parades and High School/Middle School marching bands. LOVE them.) Good times, no pictures.

* kind of soapy, foamy stuff.

You are a fantastic blogger, kimberley. (I really like your name with the lower case "k", don't you?). Anyways, I was honestly, literally thinking in my head as I scrolled down, how beautiful those pics were and then low & behold you said what I was thinking! Secondly, your use of parenthesis and asteriks really makes the reader know exactly what's going on. Two thumbs up (really).

My favorite part is Enzo having you tell santa about the marker. I can picture him totally avoiding looking at Santa's face as you told him. I wish I didn't work every single day of my life and could've shared the mammaries. (hahh) I love you.
